In 1984 John Viola founded Viola Lawn Service & Landscaping, LLC. It all started with a truck, a mower, and a dream. John began residential lawn
and snow maintenance
around Wethersfield Connecticut, where he worked out of his parents' garage. Four years later, he moved the business to Cromwell, where it has remained ever since.
As business began to grow, John began to branch out and provide more services for his clients. We currently have four full-time maintenance crews that service all our residential and commercial property needs. We also have two full-time installation crews that handle all of our design/build projects. There is no job to big or too small that we can't handle.
Over 35 years later Viola Lawn Service & Landscaping, LLC remains a family owned and operated business. There are now two generations of Viola's that works in the business.
The oldest son, Joshua, graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2011 with a degree in landscape architecture. Joshua handles all the design work as well as manages the hardscape division.
The youngest son, Jay, manages the landscape maintenance division. His attention to detail is what helps us provide our clients with well managed and well-maintained properties.
